Welcome to the annual retro party in the Soviet style - Pioneer! It will take you back to the era of red ties and caps. Despite all sorts of prohibitions and suppression of freedom of morals, Soviet youth knew how to have fun.
Be ready! A Pioneer-style party will be appropriate for birthday celebrations, corporate events, student's day and many other events. Or maybe you just want to break away from everyday worries for one evening and return to a carefree past? Then this themed event will come in handy. Let's go through the scenario.
1. Venue
Pioneer parties are best held outdoors. This could be a forest area or a river bank. A country cottage or dacha is a good choice, then all the amenities are at hand, as they say: “Sun, air and water multiply strength for work!” But at the same time, don’t forget that only sex and not giving a damn strengthen the body!
If this is not possible, you can organize a party in a bar, cafe, nightclub, or even at home. If your budget allows, invite a presenter and musicians. If not, you will have to assemble the council of the pioneer detachment and elect its chairman - who will be responsible for the party.
2. Invitations
In those days, communication through regular letters was very common (regular letters are those without @). What an exciting moment of opening the envelope. Inspire your guests with the right atmosphere, and for some, nostalgia, even at the invitation stage. Print out old postcards; you can use different designs for all your friends. 
On the reverse side, in beautiful calligraphic handwriting or under a stencil with the alphabet, write the text: “Dear comrade! I solemnly invite you to attend the meeting of pioneers!”
Be sure to indicate the location and time of the party. On a separate sheet of paper, you can write individual wishes for each guest and indicate that there will be a dress code. Place the postcard with the letter in an envelope and send it by mail. But do it in advance: jokes about Russian Post did not just appear.
3. Decorating a themed party
If you have chosen an open space as the venue for the Pioneer party, arrange for transportation of guests to old bus decorated with red flags and balloons. Choose a place in nature surrounded by trees, this gives a special coziness, and also take care of the possibility of making a fire.
It is important to stylize the holiday in red - the main distinctive and general color of the Soviet Boy Scouts movement. But don't overdo it, it can get annoying.
Dilute the color scheme with yellow and white tones. Use paper flags and balloons of all shades for decoration. The pioneer banner must be present. Posters and slogans will fully convey the character of the distant socialist past. 
Don't forget about simple attributes.

Don't forget about honor board, on which you place a photo of the guests (add everyone’s characteristic caps and ties in Photoshop). It’s better if these are children’s pictures - guess who is where. And then take a photo next to it in real time.
Get old Soviet attributes (balconies, storage rooms and attics of grandmothers will help you). It could be drum, bugle, Soviet backpack, school textbooks, wooden abacus, record player, burning apparatus and everything that every child had at that time. Can't do without olympic bear- a symbol of victories and great achievements. Is it possible to get such things? Then just print out photos with attributes on posters, you will get an interesting exhibition “Born in the USSR”.
4. Dress code
A pioneer party cannot do without appropriate costumes. The main attributes in the clothes of “translators of grandmothers across the road”:
- Pioneer tie . You can find an old one or just cut it out of red fabric.
- Cap.
- White shirt Probably everyone has one with short or long sleeves.
- Soviet school uniform . It's quite possible to find it. It might come in handy later for nightly role-playing games, if you know what I mean 😉
- Shorts, pants and skirts Only in limited colors: blue, black and brown.
- Jeans are allowed, but without fashionable additions. Remember that everything was banally simple.

The hairstyle should be neat. Girls can braid their hair, make two ponytails, and always with bows or colored ribbons; guys have an easier time with a neat haircut. 
A cut glass - where would we be without it? Who remembers the heavy transparent glasses for draft kvass? Aluminum dishes in school canteens, gray plates with fairy-tale characters. Nostalgia, in a word... or just a great idea for teleporting a modern person to the recent past!
The Soviet menu is quite simple, but appetizing. 
On the table should be:
- Olivier salad,

- jellied fish,
- sausage slices,
- pancakes,
- canned food,
- Mashed potatoes,
- pickles.
Sandwiches with sprats or red caviar will be a good snack.
The pioneers did not drink alcohol, so stick labels of lemonade or sparkling water on bottles of alcohol.
For dessert In the era of “developed socialism,” it was customary to serve custard cakes, buns with jam, Eskimo ice cream, marshmallows, chocolates in boxes, Golden Key toffees, cockerel on a stick, Buratino lemonade, and dried fruit compote.
Do not prepare “newfangled” dishes and presentations, and do not use products that were unavailable at that time. This will only overshadow the themed treats. Remember, everything should be banally simple!
6. Entertainment program and competitions
The scenario of a pioneer party necessarily involves a ritual of initiation into pioneers. This was the most important and long-awaited moment for the Soviet guys. The presenter says the phrase: “Attention to the solemn promise!” , after which he lists the duties of the guests for this evening:
Every promise begins loudly and with the expression: "I solemnly promise..."
Pioneer paraphernalia (ties, badges, ribbons) is being distributed. The invitees express their readiness and acceptance of the assigned obligations with the phrase: “Always ready!”, and with the Pioneer salute - a symbol of readiness for active action. And the fun began!
The pioneer drum and bugle are traditional musical instruments of Soviet boy scouts. Use them during exciting moments and at the beginning of every competition.

“Get everything!”
The presenter selects two or three willing participants. If there are quite a lot of guests, you can choose a larger number of participants. You need to prepare cards in advance with items of clothing, dishes, interior design written on them... Place them on a table or tray with the lettering facing down. Pioneers draw a card at random and must get the item written on it. The one who brings the most things in a certain time will be the winner. "Crocodile"
This is a well-known and beloved game of many generations. One person comes out to the center of the hall, and the counselor asks him a word that needs to be shown without uttering a single sound. The pioneer who guesses the given word first becomes the next one to reveal the word. Determine how many words need to be shown so that the game does not turn out to be too long. The winner is the best guesser.
"Fanta"
All those gathered give the leader one of their things, indicating its owner. For example, a watch, jewelry, lipstick, hairpin, lighter, napkin with a name. "Gathering the Harvest"

The task of the pioneers, without using their hands (they can be tied behind them), is to bring as much of the harvest as possible from the common basket to the team basket.
"Orienteering"
One pioneer is selected from each detachment and the leader blindfolds them. Selected competitors are placed at a sufficiently large distance from their teams. Many obstacles are placed between the pioneers and their troops, such as bottles, chairs, tables, it all depends on how much space and themed accessories allow. Using the prompts of his team (one step forward, left, three steps to the right), the participant strives to overcome the given path as quickly as possible. "Sack Run"
Since the male contingent has already participated, invite the fair half of the troops for this battle. Choose a distance that isn’t too long; it’s still a party, not a physical education lesson. The girl climbs into the bag up to her waist, runs to the presenter as quickly as possible and receives a balloon from him, the string from which she clamps with her teeth. Returning to his squad, he passes the bag to the next participant; it is important not to lose the ball along the way. The team that completes the run faster will win.

Pioneer Day has always been one of the biggest children's holidays, with the obligatory pioneer parade, or ceremonial line, initiation into the ranks of the pioneer organization, and pioneer bonfires. This is how he is remembered by those who were pioneers.

Time is limited. Players try to stretch the thread in any way possible: bending, rolling on the floor and wriggling. The goal is one - to “unite” as many players as possible in the team.
Push over the line
Two parallel lines are drawn at a distance of 1 m.
The players of the two teams stand on the line with their backs to each other. At the signal, they come closer, and each player, resting his shoulders and back on the opponent, tries to push him beyond the border line.
The team that pushes out the most players wins.
Molecules (multi-player game)
This game requires a large number of children. From 20 and more. The presenter says: “The molecule consists of five parts!” Children should quickly gather in circles of five and hold hands. Whoever is left without a circle is out of the game. The presenter again says: “The molecule consists of... Participants are given balloons and markers. The task for each player: as quickly and accurately as possible, draw a hammer and sickle on the ball, a little man, and next to it a flag with your initials.

ABBREVIATIONS GAME
This intellectual game is also played right at the table. The host hands out paper sheets with Soviet abbreviations to the guests. First, he asks the guests to decipher them, and then gives the task to come up with a new decoding - so that it will certainly be associated with the hero of the day. At the end, you can vote to determine the coolest decoding of the Soviet abbreviation in a new way.
